scientific alternatives.
Please
note that while a single high quality task or question
sequence might have only one of these characteristics,
the set of sightings should exhibit several
of them.

are scaffolded sequences of questions or
tasks (as opposed to separate questions or tasks).
Rating Scheme
Excellent: Material
consistently meets all three indicators.
Satisfactory: Material
consistently meets indicators 1 and 2.
Poor: Material
meets indicator 1 at best.
