Overview: The presenter shares with the group the workshop goals,
which are appropriate for educators who are revising or developing a curriculum
framework. These involve making the case that educators need a coherent
set of K-12 learning goals; that Project 2061’s learning goals are for
all students; and that Benchmarks for Science Literacy can complement
science and math standards in gauging how well a state or district framework
addresses national science literacy goals.
