Descriptions of 15 undergraduate college courses suggest some guidelines and examples for designing courses to teach college students particular concepts from Science for All Americans. Links in the syllabi take the user directly to the relevant chapters and sections of Science for All Americans. The syllabi collected in this component can serve as models for the development of pre-service and in-service programs aimed at science literacy goals. In addition, this component's framework for analyzing courses for their match to science literacy goals can be applied to other courses and course materials and guide the design of new courses.
