This landmark document defines science literacy as a set of essential skills and knowledge in science, mathematics, and technology that all high school graduates should possess. The literacy goals of Science for All Americans are linked to the other components on the CD-ROM. These links enable users to identify resources on the CD-ROM—i.e., trade books, research, or college courses—that are relevant to specific chapters and sections in Science for All Americans.
