Poster Presentation—Lesson Design

Estimated Time: 4 hours including poster preparation time.

Overview: Participants present lesson plans designed to address Science for All Americans and Benchmarks for Science Literacy. The poster presentations give participants a chance to apply what they have learned in the workshop and receive feedback from peers and the presenter. This option helps the presenter determine what participants think about the usefulness of Project 2061 tools and what they have learned about how to use them effectively. The option is appropriate for a workshop of at least 2.5 days and is particularly useful for groups that intend to continue their reform efforts after a workshop.
