health. The benefits of physical fitness include maintaining healthy weight,
having energy and strength for routine activities, good muscle tone, bone
strength, strong heart/lung systems, and improved mental health. Personal
exercise, especially developing cardiovascular endurance, is the foundation
of physical fitness.
