Natalie Dubois is a research associate contributing to AAAS Project 2061’s development of curriculum and assessment resources aligned to K–12 science learning goals. Previously, she was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio University. Her experience also includes serving as a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant in zoology at Michigan State University. In addition, she taught biology courses to elementary and middle school students at the Kalamazoo Area Mathematics and Science Center’s
summer program. Dubois has published and presented her research in the field of animal
behavior.
Dubois holds a Ph.D. in zoology and ecology, evolutionary biology, and behavior from Michigan State University, and a B.A. in biology and French from Albion College. She is a member of the Animal Behavior Society, the American Ornithologists Union, and the Wilson Ornithological Society.
