Abigail Burrows is a senior project coordinator for Project 2061's assessment work. She comes to Project 2061 from IslandWood Outdoor Education Center located on Bainbridge Island, WA. As a field instructor at IslandWood, Burrows extended her science education background by using the environment as a classroom for diverse groups of elementary and middle school students. Her teaching experience also includes serving as a physics ”coach” for introductory physics courses at Syracuse University.

 

Burrows holds a B.A. in geography with a physics minor from Syracuse University and a Graduate Certificate of Education for Environment and Community from the University of Washington.
